Increase FUSO e-Canter range by 12% with Aerodyne Air Management Kits
Using Aerodyne AMKs, operators can attain significant range improvements on the new Fuso eCanter. As found in testing at Millbrook Proving Ground, these will give a respectable range increase of 12%.
Aerodynamics are still very important in urban delivery and short-haul scenarios. Even at these low speeds, a considerable amount of energy is being spent overcoming aerodynamic drag. The graph below shows how this is relevant to the e-Canter, and shows how significant the effects of aerodynamics can be. At 22mph, for example, 10KW of energy is being used to overcome drag.
