Building our business to drive the best customer experience
As our regular clients will know, at Aerodyne our focus is on creating the very best customer experience, working collaboratively and fulfilling our role as trusted advisors when it comes to helping them save money on fuel and reduce their carbon footprint.
In order to set ourselves up to serve our customers in the best way possible, we’ve been changing our structure a little, bringing in more expertise and future-proofing our leadership team.
Our customer facing, and customer focused, structure
Ryan Kingston- Managing Director
Ryan heads up the team and takes responsibility for the strategy and also the overall customer experience.
During his time so far, and as the second generation of the Kingston family to run the business, Ryan has overseen the transformation from a challenger brand to a market leader in fleet aerodynamics. A big part of this has been establishing our way of working: supporting clients with the best and most innovative products but also acting as their trusted advisor, continually looking at ways we can shorten and improve their return on investment.
There’s some more about Ryan in our interview blog including what challenges he sees on the horizon for low carbon transport and logistics.
Charlise Evershed – Executive Assistant
Charlise has recently taken on the role of supporting the executive team. She takes ownership for the organisation of their working lives and is the clockwork behind keeping the leadership efficient and agile.
Tod Harvey – Head of Sales
A relatively recent addition to the team, Tod has really hit the ground running by putting some structure around our sales activity. He’s usually out in the field visiting clients and checking in on their needs and challenges. Because we’re collaborative, sales isn’t just about signing a deal, we’re continually making sure we are supporting our clients as their business evolves and also keeping them informed of new developments that might give them improved outcomes.
You can find out more about Tod in our recent interview blog, including why he’s not such a new kid on the block!
Lionel Curtis – Head of Engineering
Lionel has over 40 years’ experience in the transport sector and some amazing insights into the bigger picture when it comes to fleet operations and the environment. He’s been involved in several innovative projects including working on the first hybrid vehicle to be features on Top Gear in 1991 and working on various electric and hybrid vehicle projects for the DTI.
He is our oracle on initiatives such as VECTO and other legislative challenges and leads on technical support for the business.
You can find out more about his thoughts on today’s challenges for fleet managers in this interview blog.
Cameron Chattell – Head of Operations
Cameron looks after everything from deliveries to aftersales care when it comes to keeping the business running smoothly.
He’s passionate about innovation, firmly believing there’s no one-size-fits-all for fleet aerodynamics. The breadth of his role means he is involved in understanding client requirements as well as contributing to design discussions, and really relishes the role Aerodyne fulfil in terms of being trusted advisors to clients.

Leanne Crawshaw – Finance
Sitting in the engine room of the business, Leanne is the one who makes sure invoices are raised and paid, gets in touch when there’s a query and basically keeps the business on track when it comes to the money.
We’ll be doing some more individual interviews soon and Leanne will feature in those.
James Kingston – Customer Onboarding
James is part of a team reporting to Tod, and responsible for the introduction and onboarding of clients when they first start working with us. As part of our customer experience we like to ensure we keep clients informed of how the business works, who they can contact in the event of an enquiry or problem and support them throughout their project.
James has been with his family business for a while now and told us more about his journey in this interview blog.
Rivvern Kingston – Customer Onboarding
Representing the third generation of Kingstons, Rivvern has recently joined the business and is working with the customer onboarding team. He’s also taken responsibility for coordinating marketing and will be the subject of another interview blog in the future.
He enjoys reaching out to clients, showing them where Aerodyne can add value and working with them to explore the full potential of what optimising aerodynamics can do. It’s awesome when they realise how much they could reduce their fuel cost and CO2 emissions.
Charles Shimwell – Internal Sales
As the third and final member of the onboarding team, Charles has specific responsibility for quotations and customer support. Look out for his interview blog, coming soon.
Charles enjoys working with his accounts to add value to the end user while seamlessly fitting Aerodyne’s products into their production processes. Nothing beats a good red bull too.
