Aerodyne has run a fuel-saving trial with a large fleet operator in the food logistics market. The same refrigerated vehicles were tested over a year on urban and motorway routes without truck fuel-saving aerodynamics, with a 3D fairing only and with a 3D fairing and cab rear sidewings, resulting in increases of MPG as per the below when Aerodyne truck fuel-saving aerodynamics were fitted:
