Auto-Adjust Air Kit

AEROMATIC® is an Auto-Adjust Cab Roof Deflector which self-adjusts to suit different trailer heights.  Every 200mm of exposed trailer height costs 3% in fuel.  So if the trailer front is streamlined with a correctly adjusted air management kit, the potential fuel saving is 3%.  By this means, AEROMATIC® can give a return on investment within a few months depending on your operation.  Our sales team can work the ROI out for your fleet based on trailer sizes and annual miles etc.

How does it work?

1. There is no driver input required!
2. The ignition activates a laser sensor in the rear of the deflector.
3. The tractor reverses up to the trailer and the laser sees the trailer
4. A signal is sent to the actuator to lift.
5. As the deflector elevates, the laser beam lifts until it gets past the top of the trailer, then stops and slightly lowers for the optimum height
6. The deflector stays in the elevated position until the tractor un-couples from the trailer
7. When the tractor pulls away, the laser sensor sends a signal to the actuator to lower to the deflector to its base position – ready for the next trailer
